Books I Like, Books I Love (and books I don't)

My go-to genre is YA. Especially if it is Paranormal or Fantasy.

Shadow Kiss - Richelle Mead I think I really liked this book. It kept me wanting to read more, I didn't start to hate any of the characters and the relationships didn't seem silly or ridiculous (for the most part).I'm not saying Shadow Kiss wowed me or anything and I'm not running out to get the fourth one (is that mostly because I've heard the second half of the series is considerably weaker? Maybe)yet. I found I sometimes skipped or skimmed a lot but whether that's due to the writing or the fact I was reading so late into the night, I'm not sure. I will probably read the 4th when I run out of other things I am dying to read (and I've got quite a few of those right now on my list) and I'm sure I won't have that much of a problem with it. I mean, I've suffered through a bazillion Sookie Stackhouse novels at this point and they definitely have become progressively more and more terrible.
